SphereWMS

SphereWMS is geared towards eliminating paper-based management systems in organizations with multiple warehousing facilities. The key product uses are to drive workflow efficiency at an operational level while minimizing costs across 3PLs.

It centers on functionality that improves a warehouse’s receiving processes. Advance Receipt Notice (ARN) and Advance Ship Notice (ASN) handling allow users to receive, file, and track receipts and orders electronically. The system supports ARN creation from EDI and spreadsheet import and includes web-based supplier ASN entry to speed and standardise receiving.

The order fulfillment tool integrates customers’ business rules into the system to optimise allocation and picking (including FIFO and attribute-based allocation). The SphereWMS dashboard and reporting features provide real-time operational metrics and inventory visibility for warehouse staff and managers.

Deployment options and implementation

SphereWMS is a fully hosted, web-based cloud solution designed for rapid deployment so sites can go live with minimal on-premises hardware. The vendor highlights fast implementation and reduced up-front IT cost compared with traditional, server-installed systems.

The mobile app gives warehouse staff barcode scanning, cycle counting, and inquiry capabilities. The SphereWMS mobile client is available for iOS and Android devices (the iOS App Store and Google Play listings show the mobile client and scanner support). The product also supports purpose-built Android scanners such as Zebra devices.

SphereWMS supports integrations such as EDI transactions and APIs for connectivity with carriers, ERPs, and e-commerce platforms; integration services and connectors are offered as optional add-ons.

The pricing model is subscription-based (simple subscription plans for core features with optional add-ons such as on-site implementation, e-commerce integrations, ERP connectors, and API access).
